We interrupt the usual stream of legal, political, religious, and cultural commentary to provide you with breaking news of a new addition to the Grannis household. Meet Blue, a “Golden Doodle” (i.e., half Golden Retriever and half Poodle). He seems to like his new pack, and his new pack certainly likes him.
This would violate our policy against excessively self-referential posts, except that I offer it partly to explain why I’m still not posting at full speed. In the meantime, I’m finding a new appreciation for The New York Times.

A goodlendoodle… Good choice. Just FYI, it takes about 2 years for them to calm down. Great dogs though.

Too cute! May or may not take a whole 2 years to chill. You can train him up to be obedient at least before that =)
