Father’s Day in the Poetry Corner

Garrison Keillor gave us two nice poems about fathers this week, particularly for those of us who have lost fathers. The first, “Off the Record,” I already sent to my brothers, noting that it came two days after the anniversary of our father’s death. The second is arrestingly entitled “March 8,” which happens to be the day our dad had his stroke. Read them if you’re in the mood for a poignant Father’s Day; if your dad is still alive, talk to him instead.

Sorry, the correct link for “March 8” is

Worth following, even if it’s no longer Father’s Day.
